He currently serves as Head, Department of Surgery & Surgical Gastroenterology at IRPGIMSR & Northern Railway Central Hospital, New Delhi. Over his distinguished career, he has successfully performed more than 10,000 complex GI, HPB, and oncological procedures, establishing himself as a trusted expert in advanced laparoscopic and robotic cancer surgery.

Beyond the operating room, Dr. Tiwary is an accomplished 4-time Ironman finisher and Ultraman competitor. He completed the Ironman Frankfurt European Championship 2025 in an impressive 14 hours and 3 minutes, representing India on the global stage.

He trains daily with fellow athletes in the Aravalli hills near Faridabad, inspiring dozens of others to pursue endurance sports. The same discipline and resilience that define his athletic pursuits are the very qualities that make him a surgeon of extraordinary calibre.
